After Dark in the Park: Kenichi Maehara: Pele's Photographer is Tuesday, July 23 from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Kīlauea Visitor Center Auditorium in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Park Ranger Anekelea Hubner shares the life story and eruption photography of Kenichi Maehara, an early 20th century photographer from Hiroshima, Japan. Part of Hawai‘i Volcanoes’ ongoing After Dark in the Park programs and co-sponsored by the Friends of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Free event. Park fees apply.
