COOKING WITH CANOE PLANTS WORKSHOP WITH HEATHER is Saturday, September 14 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. Explore plants brought to Hawaii by Polynesians and how to prepare them. Make recipes, including salad, main course and desert. Heather will discuss nutritional, social and economical benefits of buying locally grown produce. Class includes: class handout with recipes, and in-class samples.  Class fee $60/$55 VAC members plus a $20 supply fee.
